Caught between two men

It is true, men make us feel special. Be it your dad or husband, they love and show concern in a way almost impossible for others. How it feels to get the love and concern from two men at the same time, in the most special way? When both of them are special,are my best friends and are ready to do anything to see me smile.

Here I am caught between two men. For the past seven or more years I have been treated like a queen when I am with them. And my life has always revolved around them since then. My brother and my sweetheart, the two most significant men in my life!

We reached our friend's place at K.R.Puram and got Jane's gas connection documents. 

"What happened? Why are you guys in such a hurry?" He asked

"Do you know where the K.R.Puram sub-registrar's office is?" I asked

"Really? You are going ahead with it? Wait, I will come with you, in case you need any help!" He said and raced of to get his bike keys.

How to Handle a Man?

I got engaged about three months back and my family has not spoken to me ever since. Actually, Dad called/emailed a couple of times to tell me that he won't talk to me again (Ha!). But Mom never spoke to me. No!

But, I have come to understand that Mom is with me all the time, and that just creeps the crap outta me! Don't worry, it is nothing supernatural or paranormal. But it is so damn creepy!

Namakaran aka I Name You!

What’s there in a name? Especially pet name between lovers. Why is this need to call our loved ones with a special name other than their original ones? 

When I look around, all our friends call their boyfriend or husband/girlfriend or wife a special name. Kutta, vava,  ammu, kuttipa,bujji etc. etc. Some funny, some cute, some weird. And what do I call him??

It's Time to Show Some Love!

We might not be a big thing in blogosphere...

But we wanted to make sure that we conveyed how much we love our followers!

Last month, November, was the month of love at SuKupedia. And she gave us our first award and we wear it proudly.

There was a girl who wanted to be a journalist. It was her dream since high school. So even after securing top grades in tenth board exam, she took up humanities (thanks to ever supportive parents). She went to a school, notorious for its strikes and bullies, just because they offered JOURNALISM.  Her dreams were flying high when she joined a reputed college in Bangalore to study Journalism and more Journalism.

Tiff and Tears

“If you are not interested in what I am talking, say it frankly”, I was beginning to get irritated seeing his cold replies.
“Why do you always judge my expressions wrong, I am listening to you, for heaven’s sake!” he retorted.
We were sitting in a bus and I didn’t want to attract unnecessary attention.
“Please, keep your voice low, why are we fighting?” already the girl sitting in front of us was eavesdropping.
“I didn’t start a fight; you are the one who always judge me wrong”.

I was on the bed, reading, (The Secret of the Nagas - By Amish) I looked up. Jane was sitting in front of the laptop, left hand on her jaw, right hand on the mouse! She wasn't even lookin at me! She was staring at the home page of this blog!

"This blog is soooooo cheesy!" She said again, turning to look at me now

My First love

It was today I realized I am in love. It was quite a shocking revelation to me. I looked at the mirror and smiled. My braces shined brightly amidst the row of teeth. For a second I thought I was blushing or was it the mere thought of him tickling my senses. I took hold of my school bag and walked towards bus stop walking past his home. Didn’t have the courage to peep inside though. My bus will take another fifteen minutes to come but I wanted to be there before he crosses the street.

Conquering the stalker!!

I sheepishly admit here that I have been stalking John online for a long time till recently. Now this very bad habit of mine started as soon as we were on a long distance relationship. When we started going around we used to meet daily. But when we both moved to different locations, it became difficult to talk daily, forget meeting. So I started keeping a track of his life in orkut and facebook rather than asking him directly. 

Living through a Break-Up!

This is the day I have dreaded since the past 2 months now...

Ever since I decided that she should leave home and come stay with me in Bangalore, I have dreaded the day when my job would want me to stay back late into the night!

And today is that day (or night!)!

I knew this was going to end sooner or later. When we started off five years back, we wouldn’t have never ever dreamt of such a phase. We victoriously came out of the three year itch in flying colors. We told each other ‘our relationship is made in heaven, nothing can separate us’. And we believed it. But things went under a gray shade soon. 

Crazy Things You Do in Love

It has been a while since I posted something here, aint' it? 

Well, it is cos Jane hasn't been keeping well... Food poisoning! (though she insists on calling it "Bangalore Belly")

Finally she is healthy enough to go back to work... And as usual, Saturdays are off for me, but not for her... So, here I am getting some chores done with "The Immortals of Meluha" in one hand, when I thought, "It HAS been a while..." :)

Mars in my 8th house

“Whatever you say I am not going to allow this”, mom was so stern about her decision.

“But he is a nice guy, you know that. You said you like him. Then what this fuss all about?” I was fighting back tears. This is the first time mom has stood against my relationship with him. She always had praises for him and being in her good books he would have surely gained some impression with dad too.

“Of course he is a nice guy. I like him. Hence I am concerned about him. You surely don’t want something to happen to him right?” There she had hit at the right point.

A Month of Living with a Woman

Yup! It is the 11th of October today.


Exactly one month back, she arrived with 4 bags (honestly, I expected more!) to live with me. We got engaged. We started a new chapter in our life. And it has been a month since.


So, dear men, here are a few things nobody will tell you about living with a woman:

Where Is My St. Valentine?

“So what are your plans for Valentines’ day?” I asked to know if this guy had any plans to propose me.

“Nothing much, it’s our college day na? Will spend it in college, tats all”, he said without much fervor.

I was depressed. Oh God, so he is not taking me out. Neither is he gonna propose!

“What about you?” he asked looking at me.

“Nothing”. Did I sound desperate?

Status: In a Relationship! In India!

Ah Well, I am back with my second post... Fed up of hearing Jane say "I will surely post my 1st one today", since the past one week. Ya, she is quite swamped with her new job, plus taking care of the house, etc... Can't really blame her!


So, everybody knows what it feels like to be in a relationship. But not many know how it is to be in a relationship in India! People just imagine that relationships are college time affairs and will never get serious. So they are shocked when it does. 

Making it Work!

This is one statement that all my single friends say...

The frequency of this statement is the same as, "Who wants all that tension. I am happy that I am single!"

Not to seem like a know-all of relationships, but honestly no single person has the faintest idea of how difficult it is to manage a relationship and to keep it alive... barely...
